Hey Yall. So today’s blog post is actually a product review. I recently made a purchase that I am very excited about! I had been in the market for a jewelry armorie for quite some time. I’m a big online shopper so that’s where I concentrated my efforts. My two main online “stores” are of course Amazon and Ebay. I pretty much get everything from there. I can’t really remember the last time I went shopping in an actual store. I had been thinking about getting one of these armoires for the last few years. I am a huge accessories girl. I love to accessorize and “coordinate”. I had all of my things in multiple places. I had a couple of jewelry boxes, a couple of storage bins, a drawer full of stuff. So what better time to get organized than now, during the quarantine. Yeah I know that they have started to open some things up, but guess what? I’m not going out there. I’m an introverted homebody anyway so I’m content here in my sanctuary for the time being.
Since I’m always shopping online I am routinely adding things to my online wish lists. I had several armories on the list for the last few years. I was looking for something with a contemporary style that I felt would blend easily with my decor. I wanted to stay away from wood stain finishes, so I looked at black, silver and other colors such as red and even turquoise. I couldn’t quite make up my mind. None of them seem right, either wrong color, wrong size and/or wrong price and then I came across this mirrored armoire. It seemed just right but of course true to form I didn’t purchase it right away, it stayed on my wish list for a few months. Then I finally said to myself, “may as well get it”😁. So I placed my order and waited for my package.
I was a little skeptical and apprehensive as I waited because it is fully mirrored and in reading some of the reviews there were many complaints about the item arriving damaged. There was also indication that it was a heavy box. Well I had no problem getting the box into the house by myself. It took me about 45 minutes to unbox and assemble it. The assembly was easy, just attach the legs and the mirrored top which opens to the first compartment which is primarily for ring storage. There was a slight scratch on the bottom painted portion where the legs are attached but it was not noticeable enough for me to return it or feel unsatisfied. I set it up next to my dresser and I am loving how it looks in my room.
It is perfect for my needs. I have started to put some of my things in there. I still have a lot more stuff to fill it up. So this is just to show the space available.
It’s beautiful and girly. I love it. It is the same height as my dresser. I don’t know the exact measurements but you can look them up on Amazon. There are seven drawers plus the top that opens up making a total of eight different compartments. There are also two side doors where you can hang necklaces and jewelry. Hopefully I will find time to put the remaining things in there soon.
