The state of Louisiana has a lot to offer and New Orleans is definitely one of those places that you should put on your to-do list. New Orleans is a great getaway for good entertainment and good food. On this trip to New Orleans I was only in town for a few days. I actually traveled into town to partake in one of my favorite past times which is live entertainment. If you have read any of my previous posts or follow me on social media you know I am a huge music lover and concerts are truly one of my life’s great passions. I am way behind on getting this post added to the blog, as this trip to NOLA took place back in 2019. Better late than never right? Here’s a quick synopsis of my trip.
Around Town
I spent some time hanging out on Bourbon Street which is always a good time. There is always some type of action going on and definitely no shortage of interesting people to meet and see. I spent some time just walking around and taking in the sites. I was able to enjoy some live music. Unfornately I do not know the name of the band but they put on a great show.
Boat Cruise
I always love to do a nice dinner or lunch/brunch cruise whenever I can find one. It’s something I always look for in any city that has a riverfront or major waterway. This cruise did not disappoint. The food was good, the views were great and there was a DJ and music which added to the fun.
The Concert
So the main attraction for this trip was the concert that I attended. The artists performing included: Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, Joe and Charlie Wilson. Of course I was there to see Ralph. I am of course the self-proclaimed #1 RT Hype Girl😁. I am a regular occupant of the front row of any Ralph Tresvant concert. At this concert I was lucky enough to have Ralph sing to me and he also gave me a rose. I was so excited. Ralph also is very personable and loves to interact with his fans so I was able to get a few pictures with him after the show which made the experience even better.
