I made a quick weekend getaway to Hanover Maryland in September 2018. This was another trip that centered around live entertainment. I met up with some friends from various cities for the Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill concert. I stayed in town an extra day to enjoy some of the sites. I have been to the DMW area on multiple occasions and always enjoy myself. I love the food and I also love the harbor location.
The concert took place at the Live Casino & Hotel. The accommodations and dining options were nice. I did not do any gambling at the casino. Although, I have attended several events at casinos I have yet to ever gamble…maybe I will give it a try one day. However, the possibility of losing money just for fun just doesn’t really appeal to me.
This was a short weekend getaway. I flew into town on the day of the concert. I enjoyed a full day at the casino accommodations which included dining and spending time with friends. I spent another day in town just to unwind and have some ME time. You don’t have to take an extended vacation to enjoy yourself. Sometimes self-care can be a weekend away or maybe even a staycation in your own town. I do recommend the Maryland/DMV area for either a short or extended stay.
