Florida is one of my favorite places to visit. I have been there several times. I love the warm temperatures and I love to be on or near the water. Of course I have visited Disneyworld, which is one the main attractions in the area. In recent years, most have my trips have focused on family, as one of my sisters and her children relocated to Florida over a decade again. She lives in the Tampa area. This post will focus on two of my trips to The Sunshine State.
Ruskin, Florida
In June 2015, I decided to stay in Ruskin at a hotel that was located on the beach. I stayed at The Inn at Little Harbor (https://www.theinnatlittleharbor.com/). Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures of the hotel when I was there but I did include the website in case you would like to check it out. During my stay, I found it to be a very nice accommodation. It was very secluded and quiet. The rooms were nice and of course you can’t beat an ocean view. I spent a lot of time on the beach and was joined by my niece and nephew. I love to just relax on the beach and work on my tan😁…Ahh what a life! The beach was very nice, and there wasn’t a big crowd, which is how I like it. We had a great time.
Parasailing in Clearwater, Florida
During this trip I also decided to go Parasailing for the the first time. I invited both my niece and nephew to go with me. My nephew as having none of it…..🤣, but my niece who must have inherited some of my adventurous spirit was all for it. We drove out to Clearwater, Florida to partake in parasailing. We had an amazing time.
Orlando, Florida
In 2019, I made a trip to Orlando, Florida, when my niece graduated from college. Of course we also had to have some fun. My niece who as previously stated is always up for an adventure accompanied me on a ride at Amphicar Car Launch at The Boathouse (https://www.theboathouseorlando.com/amphicar-tours/). They have some great boats that are designed like retro style cars. We were not able to convince the rest of the family to come with….but we had a ball.
Hot Air Balloon Ride
We also did a Hot Air Balloon Ride. This time we were joined by my sister, nephew and mother.
